Provision Of Laptops

National ICT R&D Fund Company registered under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 is engaged in promotion of Research and Development activities primarily for progress in the realm of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) with the ultimate objective of creating knowledge based economy.
The National ICT R&D Fund through this EOI intends to invite proposals from qualified licensed/registered and well reputed Law Firms to provide professional legal services. We require only such law firms having experience in corporate governance and operational matters, labor laws, procurement regulations and representing similar entities in court of law.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
FOR REGISTRATION OF HEC RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN
“PRIME MINISTER’S NATIONAL ICT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (PMNICTSP) 2012”
Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarship Program (PMNICTSP) 2012 covers admission and tuition fee, boarding and lodging, book allowance, food allowance and stipend for successful eligible students to pursue four year undergraduate degrees in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) disciplines.
Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized universities of Pakistan including Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit Baltistan offering four year undergraduate degree programs in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) disciplines are invited to apply for consideration to participate in Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarship Program. Potential participating universities should meet the following criteria in order to participate in the program:
- HEC recognized universities should either have adequate hostel facilities (preferably on-campus) which are owned and managed by the university administration or can provide university administered hostel facilities to the students.
- Engineering Programs (ICT disciplines) of the HEC recognized universities should be accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Computing Qualifications (ICT disciplines) of the HEC recognized universities should be accredited by National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NEC).
- No distance learning program of the universities (ICT disciplines) can take part in the scholarship program.
Submission Requirements:
- Application Form and Terms of Reference (TORs) for this purpose are available at http://ictrdf.org.pk/scholarship/eoi and www.ppra.org.pk Duly filled form in all respects should be submitted at the following address along with copies of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) accreditation certificate for Engineering Programs (ICT disciplines) and National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) accreditation certificate for Computing Qualifications.
- Prospectus of Fall 2012 program stating the university’s admission fee, tuition fee, and hostel charges should be submitted with the filled application form.
HEC recognized universities of Pakistan including AJK and Gilgit Baltistan fulfilling the above criteria may apply to National ICT R&D Fund to be considered for participation in the program within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.

Appointment of Auditors
National ICT R&D Fund is a company (limited by guarantee and not having a share capital) set up under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 as a not for profit entity. The Company is owned and governed by the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of Pakistan, having its office in Islamabad. The accounts of National ICT R&D Fund Company are audited annually.
National ICT R&D Fund Company intends to appoint External Auditors for the Financial Year 2012-13 for its Annual Audit. Chartered Accountant Firms meeting following criterion are invited to participate in the tender along with relevant documents.
