Job Responsibilities:
  • Organizing, preparing agendas for, and taking minutes of board meetings board committees and annual general meetings.
  • Ensuring that the company complies with its Memorandum and Articles of Association and, drafting and incorporating amendments in accordance with correct procedures.
  • Developing and overseeing the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, as well as its legal and statutory requirements.

Qualification & Experience:
• A Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or a member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries; or a person holding a master degree in business administration or commerce or being a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission • At least five years relevant experience.

Manager Business Planning & Strategy

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, maintaining and updating the three years rolling business plan
  • Facilitating commercialization/industrialization of successful funded projects
  • Gather strategic business intelligence. Undertake market analysis, environment scanning, technology trends, data analysis, demographic and economic profiling to assist and advise the Fund to identify opportunities for solicited funding
  • Carry out capital budgeting, TVM and financial modelling for assessment of projects commercialization potential
  • Work with all parts of the Fund and stakeholders to develop an achievable annual business plan.  The plan to have clear objectives, milestones and performance indicators, together with timeframes for achievement.

Purpose (Strategic KPIs): 

 

  • Corporate Strategy formulation and implementation roadmap
  • Business Planning, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Steering commercialization initiatives for the funded ICT R&D projects
  • Driving strategy initiatives for new ventures
  • Engagement with venture capitalists, angel investors and donor agencies for tapping new sources of funding

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Ability to advocate strategic thinking and corporate strategic planning amongst relevant stakeholders
  • Should demonstrate the ability to translate policy into organizational plans, structures & programs
  • Financial modelling and business planning 
Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Management Sciences/Business Administration from a well reputed HEC recognized University • At least 05-08 years of overall experience with at least 03-05 years at a similar role • Experience of Project/Program Management at an organizational level will be preferred • Experience of work within ICT sector is highly desirable

Manager Operational Excellence (Quality Manager)

Process Improvement:

  • Establish mechanism to manage, measure, analyze and improve companywide business critical processes through traditional DMAIC & nontraditional methodologies of process improvement that result in organizational effectiveness
  • Identification of “waste” in existing processes and come up with ways to eliminate defects
  • Drive departmental level process efficiencies through mapping existing data and come up with ways to increase process level efficiency throughout the organization.

Liaison with Certification Bodies/Consultants:

  • Liaison with certification bodies/consultants to develop schedule of implementing best practices/benchmarks for enhanced & improved quality/performance of organization’s services

Business Process Re-engineering:

  • Identify & support BPR opportunities across the organization, prioritize them as per organization importance, create cross-functional teams for execution
  • Lead, train, support, guide team & execute Enterprise BPR projects and Initiatives through completion of each project.

The job holder is responsible for establishment of quality management systems in the organization review, mapping and continual improvement of company-wide procedures in line with international best practices and driving the change management /transformation process across the organization.

Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s degree or 16 years of education or higher from a well reputed HEC recognized University; • ISO 9000 certification; • Experience of at least one full implementation of ISO 9000 is preferable; • At least 05-08 years of experience with 03-05 years in a leading quality management system role; • Certification in ISO 14000 & OHSAS 18000 is highly desirable; • A six sigma black belt or champion shall be preferable.

  • Apply mathematical, statistical  and econometrics modelling techniques to compile, analyze and report data to assess economic viability and forecast market trends

Report Writing

The job holder is responsible to forecast & uncover trends, determine the implications of their findings and make recommendations based on application of economic theory and knowledge. Also, the team member will be responsible for identification and sponsoring of economic studies relevant to ICT R&D Fund mandate.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   

  • General economic knowledge and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze and reason - both deductively and inductively.
  • Ability to marshal evidence and to assimilate, structure and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong quantitative skills including proven ability to use current statistical and econometric techniques.
  • Excellent report writing skills, backed by thorough methodical research skills.
Qualification & Experience:
• Masters in Economics or higher from a well reputed HEC recognized University. • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in a research institute. • Academic merit shall have a preference.
