Job Responsibilities:

Purpose (Strategic KPIs):

The job holder is responsible for establishment of quality management systems in the organization review, mapping and continual improvement of company-wide procedures in line with international best practices and driving the change management /transformation process across the organization.

Process Improvement:

  • Establish mechanism to manage, measure, analyze and improve companywide business critical processes through traditional DMAIC & nontraditional methodologies of process improvement that result in organizational effectiveness
  • Identification of “waste” in existing processes and come up with ways to eliminate defects
  • Drive departmental level process efficiencies through mapping existing data and come up with ways to increase process level efficiency throughout the organization.

Liaison with Certification Bodies/Consultants:

  • Liaison with certification bodies/consultants to develop schedule of implementing best practices/benchmarks for enhanced & improved quality/performance of organization’s services

Business Process Re-engineering:

  • Identify & support BPR opportunities across the organization, prioritize them as per organization importance, create cross-functional teams for execution
  • Lead, train, support, guide team & execute Enterprise BPR projects and Initiatives through completion of each project.

Qualification & Experience:
•Master’s degree or 16 years of education or higher from a well reputed HEC recognized University; •ISO 9000 certification; •Experience of at least one full implementation of ISO 9000; •08 years of experience with 05 years in a leading quality management system role; •Certification in ISO 14000 & OHSAS 18000 is highly desirable; •A six sigma black belt or champion shall be preferable.

Purpose (Strategic KPIs):

The job holder is responsible to forecast & uncover trends, determine the implications of their findings and make recommendations based on application of economic theory and knowledge. Also, the team member will be responsible for identification and sponsoring of economic studies relevant to ICT R&D Fund mandate.
Data Analysis & Forecasting

  • Devise methods and procedures to obtain data
  • Apply mathematical, statistical  and econometrics modelling techniques to compile, analyze and report data to assess economic viability and forecast market trends

Application of Analysis

  • Use data analysis to test the effectiveness of economic models and advise on the suitability of alternate course(s) of action and  allocation of  resources
  • Evaluate past and present economic issues and trends
  • Explain research methodology and justify conclusions drawn from research data
  • Provide economic advice to the stakeholders

Report Writing

  • Write various technical and non-technical reports on economic trends and forecast for the stakeholders (internal or external)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • General economic knowledge and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze and reason - both deductively and inductively.
  • Ability to marshal evidence and to assimilate, structure and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong quantitative skills including proven ability to use current statistical and econometric techniques.
  • Excellent report writing skills, backed by thorough methodical research skills.

 

Qualification & Experience:
•Masters in Economics or higher from a well reputed HEC recognized University. •3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in a research institute. •Academic merit shall have a preference.

Deputy Manager Solicitation, Engagement & Evaluation

The job holder is responsible to assist Manager S&E in soliciting and engaging Industry for project proposals and applications, effectively identifying and building a high value relationship with the stakeholders and maintaining data as well as preparing reports of S&E department.

Stakeholders’ Identification & Liaison

  • Assist the Manager S&E to identify the relevant stakeholders for solicitation and engagement
  • Act as a focal point between the identified stakeholders (Industry) and S&E department
  • Regular follow up with the stakeholders and provide assistance to bidding companies 

Reporting & Database Management

  • Maintain and update the database of subject matter experts to help in peer review of fund seeking proposals
  • Update, maintain and validate  data / statistics of S&E department
  • Analyze and generate meaningful reports from the data on fortnightly basis 

Liaise with Finance and  Monitoring & Internal Audit

  • Calculate payment to EEs against evaluation of proposals and liaise with Accounts/Finance department for transfer of payments to their accounts.
  • Liaise with Finance, Monitoring and Internal Audit department to  monitor, schedule and recommend  budget & internal process

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills

Finance Functions

  • Assist Manager Financial Accounting in coordinating with all the external agencies of the R&D Fund relating to taxation and other financial matters
  • Participate in various finance functions including month-end close, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis and the annual audit
  • Perform detailed transactional, reconciliation or analysis activities, as needed

Financial Reports

  • Generate all periodic financial reports regarding the activities of the R&D Fund Company

Banking Transactions

  • Manage all the banking transactions and keep a detailed record of them

Assets Data Management

  • Keep complete record of all fixed assets of the Company by maintaining fixed assets register
Qualification & Experience:
•Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance or Accounting or equivalent or higher from a well reputed HEC recognized University or ACCA, preferably with 3.5/4.0 CGPA or equivalent or higher. •3-5 years’ of work experience in a similar role preferably at a multinational organization.
